Sujit Choudhry Helps Spain and Catalonia Resolve Political Crisis

Legal expert Sujit Choudhry along with other scholars of constitutional law devised a letter to the governments of Catalonia and Spain in an effort to help resolve a political dispute. Catalonia intends to secede from Spain and gain independence. As a result, Choudhry and the scholars have submitted a letter to urge the two parties to resolve this crisis as soon as possible. The letter was put together to help convince both Spain and Catalonia that secession is what is best for the two parties as well as for the citizens of Catlonia. Choudhry drafted a letter to both President Puigdemont of Catalonia and to Spanish Prime Minister Rajoy. With this new proposal, both governments will likely be in better position to make political changes that will benefit each party.
