Alexandre Gama is the founder and CEO of Neogama, one of the largest advertising agencies in Brazil. Gama began his career in the advertising world by graduating with degrees in Advertising and Propaganda from the Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado. He entered the professional arena in 1982 with a position as a writer for Standart Ogilvy. For the next 17 years he worked in various positions in the advertising agency. In 1999, he set up his own agency. This was Neogama.
Gama’s star kept on rising. By 2008, he was the only Latin American to hold a Master Class at the Cannes Film Festival in France. In 2012, he became of member of the Board of the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies, which oversees issues and disputes that may arise in the Brazilian agency. In 2016, he became the only Brazilian to sit as a member of the Global Creative Group.
